3rd asef young leaders summit in Belgium

3rd ASEF Young Leaders Summit Leadership – Belgium:

There is another fully funded exciting opportunity for the young leaders to participate in the Young Leaders Summit 2018 in Belgium. The Young Leaders Summit is the leadership program by ASEF, which stands for Asia Europe Foundation. If you want to become the member of the full leadership summit and you want to travel and experience the culture of Belgium and visit different cities and places in Europe, it is the best opportunity for you.

The organizers will cover all of the expenses of the program and this year, 200 students will participate in this program. The young students, professional will become the member of the diversity and experience the new culture and they will visit different cities and broaden the social horizons. The 200 students will expose the culture and it will enhance their leadership skills. ASEF countries can take part in this program and there are total 51 countries, which are associated with ASEF. This is the Student Leadership summit or young leadership summit.

The organization, ASEF YLS3 takes the approach of 360° to leadership in order to organize the act of leading to present all spectrums of society from home to classroom, in business meeting to streets. The ASEF YLS3 is meant for the young leaders, who want to critically reflect, re-imagine and shape the notion of leadership, which is started from themselves in their communities and on the Asia Europe scale.

• The Program is Funded
• No registration or participation fee.
• The organizers will cover accommodation and meals for duration of conference with travel subsidy from your country of residence to starting point and back.

Program Structure:

The 3^rd edition of ASEF YLS moves beyond conference borders and participants of ASEFYLS3 will join 5-step programme:

• Online:
  • Knowledge_stretching
    Initial insights on topic and 11 thematic angles through webinars and group/individual tasks.
  • ASEF is making webinars open for whole ASEF Edu community this year and join our thought-tickling conversations online! Streamed on our ASEFEdu Facebook page.
• On-site at ASEF YLS3:
  • Action_Oriented
    The basic element of ASEF YLS3 is offered to participants to develop ideas, project and commitments in the form of spin-off activities, which are associated to leadership and sustainable development in local communities and collaboratively with ASEF YLS3 peers.
  • Network_based
    Networks triggers movements! ASEF YLS3 enhanced its networking element among participants, speakers, facilitators and partners. ASEF YLS3 will spread professional and private group of connections.
  • Leadership_exchange
    ASEF YLS is at close proximity to Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) political process. ASEF YLS3 is aligned with 12^th ASEM Summit (ASEM12), where youth voice and commitments will be raised at ASEM12 and other concerned Ministerial Meetings.
  • Reciprocity_focused
  • ASEF YLS3 promotes leadership to pay forward. ASEF YLS3 alumni will be assisted to roll out ideas and initiatives to spread talent and work beyond ASEF YLS framework.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Citizens belong to any of 51 Asia Europe Meeting (ASEM) partner countries.
• Having age between 18 to 30 years
• The action-oriented and creative minded people from students and academics to young professionals and the entrepreneurs from all societal sectors of the relevant countries
• The individual will have strong command of English in both written and verbal.
• The applicants are ready to participate actively in 8 week online preparatory phase and 4 days on site phase and followed up by post project phase, which is composed of the alumni led online and the offline initiatives.
• Any field of students with their educational background to make them eligible to apply

• The individual submit the online application forms by 20 May 2018 (Sunday), GMT 23.59.
• They look out for confirmation email on the successful submission, if you do not get it, it might have landed in your junk or spam folder.
