American Court says Shakira song “Loca” violates copyright

The song “Loca” of famous singer Shakira has been declared as copyright issue by the American Court but so far, the court hasn’t ordered about the damages. The Manhattan Court declared in its decision that poetry of Shakira’s “Loca” is the copy of 1990 song by Dominican Republic’s poet Arias. The claim that the English version of the song is different from the actual version was rejected by the court. Over 5 million albums of this Shakira’s song were sold worldwide after its release in 2010.
