Apple Discontinue iPhone X This Year


Apple is the leading mobile phone manufacturing company and it will discontinue the release of the smart phone, iPhone X in the market. The company is focusing on other models of the mobile phones to be released in the market.




Uninspiring Sales

iPhone X is expected to have the sales of 62 million units and it is lower than the 80 million, which were estimated earlier. Apple is expected to ship 18 million units in the first quarter of 2018 and it is the lower figure between 20 to 30 million, which was expected initially.

When this smart phone was released in China, it obtained less response from local people due to its short screen size. The last phone that was killed after first year, was ill fated and cheap iPhone 5C.

iPhone X Plus

the technologies of phone will be used in the new coming and latest devices like iPhone X Plus and for the present year, Apple has the expectation to reveal the three separate devices like larger 6.1 inches and 6.5 inches OLED phones.

The low sales of iPhone X are because of the sustained growth of iPhone 6 and 7 lines. The launching of the 2017 models are for less than two thirds of all Apple smart phones, which are sold during this quarter and with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus to beat the iPhone X.

Super Cycle

The 2017 models of the smart phone might be part of the super cycle and it has arrived of the three high end phones on sale and result into 5% lift in sales. At the end of 2018, Apple might end up the experience of 10% increase in the sales of the smart phone.
