Blackberry is currently trying to get recovery for which it is putting emphasis on its conventional design but now it has unveiled the latest mid-range offering known as the ‘Leap’ which is a complete touchscreen phone. Like the Z3, the design of this new device is also very large.
The latest OS v 10.3.1 is present in the phone while its display is of 5” with 720p resolution.
There is a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus underneath while in this range we would expect a Snapdragon 415 or similar. There is also inclusion of 16GB internal expandable storage and 2GB RAM.
An 8MP camera is at the back with 5x zoom and 1080p video capability. At front, there is also a camera of 2 MP. Bluetooth 4.0 LTE and 4G LTE are the connectivity options of the phone while its specs are completed by a 2800 mAh battery.
$275 is the price of this Blackberry phone and when the competition is very severe today and the dual-core S4 Plus processor may not be suitable at this price now as it has become old after many years.
