Mumbai, Leading Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan is going to celebrate his 71st birthday ceremony today. He was born in Allahabad city Indian State Uttar Pardesh on 11 October 1942. He started his film career in 1969 from the movie Seven Hindustani. This movie was flopped but he was given the first national film award as new emerging actor. His second movie, Annad, got success from business and critics point of view. Then he played the negative role in Parwana. During 70s decade, he reached to the peak of the popularity and now he is famous with his name as Big Bee and performed in about 180 movies. He got success in various movies like Abhimaan, Chupkay chupkay, Sholay, Zanjeer and Silsila and various other movies with co-star Jia bahaduri and married with her. In 1984, he retired from the film line and joined politics. But his political period was very short.

He again started his film career in 1988 from super hit movie ‘Shenshah’ but the later movies were unsuccessful to retain his place in the film world and he retired from the film world once again. In 2000, Big B started hosting of quiz show ‘Kon Banay ga crore pati’. Since then he performed in various successful movies and remained host of various seasons of this quiz show. This year, he performed in “The Great Catsby” with short role and started his debut in Hollywood and he also wished to perform various other movies in future.
