An offer of 5 million pound for his website is rejected by a British-Pakistani teenager who thinks that his site has more worth than that.

M Ali lives in West Yorkshire and he developed his price comparison website in six months. An American investor offered this money to the youngster but he rejected the offer by claiming that he is starting work on this site which has no competition. Ali told that they met the investors from a global data driven company in London and the offered was rejected last December.

The 16 year old said that the price of the technology is millions even before launching of the website which means it will worth lot more after its use by the people due to which the offer was rejected. He added that refusing this offer is risky but he wants to be known in every house and also something really huge.

Chris Thorpe is an entrepreneur from Scarborough who is business partner of Ali and this website is a joint venture of both partners. In 2009, Thorpe founded a reverse marketing platform, named WeNeed1, whose purpose was to introduce buyers to sellers of goods in the UK but he accomplished his idea after meeting Ali.

Ali later developed an algorithm to provide real time quotes which is different from other insurance sites that provide pre-fixed quotes. This website updates prices from electronic items to properties and alert both buyers and sellers.

Prior to that, Ali also created a videogame, project 2006, that earned him 30,000 pound. Ali estimates that he has earned around 41,000 pound so far while his biggest purchase was 14,000 pound for decoration of his parents’ living room.

Ali says that he is proud of the things he invented while one can start a small project without taking loans and make it bigger with his effort.
