Chinese about to setting up auto unit in Pakistan

During a meeting with six member Chinese delegation, Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource Raja Ashafaq Sarwar said that foreign investors will be provided with complete security by Punjab Govt. that will enable them to invest in the province in all development sectors.

Chen Zhi Qiang, director of JAC Motors, led the Chinese delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed chances of investment and mutual promotions in the sectors of energy, trade, livestock, automobile, agriculture and infrastructure development.

The major interest of the Chinese delegation was to set up an automobile manufacturing plant in Punjab. The minister welcomed the Chinese members and said that there is tax exemption in several industrial zones in Punjab while Chinese investment is especially very important because the Chinese-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has increased the opportunities growth in business and economic sectors between both the countries.

He added that youth of Punjab will get business opportunities through CPEC due to which Govt. of Punjab has decided to provide latest technical training to two million youth in the province. The efforts of Chinese Govt. for elimination of energy crisis were also appreciated by the minister.

The meeting was also attended by Premier Engineering Pakistan Country Head Ahmad Daniyal and Premier Group of Companies CEO Shaukat Mubarak.
