Claim of Rediscovery of World’s 8th Wonder

The archaeologists in New Zealand have claimed to rediscover the 8th Wonder of the World that was buried 130 years ago due to volcanic activity.

The experts say that they have found the “white colored Terraces” beneath the layers of mud and ash. These terraces were once known as wonder of the world and they also got famed for world’s largest deposits of silica.

These terraces were destroyed in 1886 due to eruption of volcano named Mount Taravera but now the researchers said that they have found the burial place of these terraces.

It is also expected that the wonder remained are safe after even lot of time. These terraces were attraction site for tourists in the southern hemisphere. British tourists use to visit this place despite dangerous voyage but the govt. of that time never measured these terraces due to which there is no information about longitude and latitude of these terraces.
