CPEC Study Center Established in Punjab University

Higher Education Commission and University of the Punjab have decided to established the CPEC center for the integrated study at the university in order to highlight the golden chance for development of Pakistan through media and also counter the negative propaganda against the project. The meeting was conducted for the setting up of the China Pak Economic Corridor study centers, in which former vice chancellor of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Lt Gen (R) Muhammad Asghar, vice chancellor of University of the Punjab Prof Dr Zaffar Mueen Nasar, Incharge of Institute of Communication Studies Savera Shami, Amir Bajwa, Shabbir Sarwar, Dr Zaffar Ahmed and others.

During the meeting, Lt Gen (R) Muhammad Asghar gave the presentation on CPEC and One Belt One Road ingenuity. Now it is time to create the awareness among the people about this project. He also said that with the construction of CPEC, all segments of the society will get the benefit from this great project. The VC of Punjab University said that the university will play its role in this project and it will provide all necessary information about this project. He also instructed the team in Punjab University to make the solid proposals and the practical work will be initiated on this project as soon as possible.
