The Pakistani team after beating the English team in the final of World Cup that was played in Melbourne and got the title to their name under the leadership of the great Imran Khan Once again the final of the World Cup will be hosted by Melbourne while semis finals will be hosted by Auckland and Sydney like they did in 1992 World Cup.
The co host of the ICC World Cup 2015 New Zealand and Australia had made discussions related to the alternative options of the important matches taking place before an official announcement of fixtures take place on Tuesday in which possibility of matches to be played in Sydney Olympic Stadium and even Adelaide Oval to be considered.
It is expected that same formula that was used in 1992 ICC World Cup will be retained by the organizers of handing matches at Eden Park and SCG as they did in 1992 World Cup in the most important match where more than 87000 cricket fans witnessed excellence of Pakistani team led by Imran Khan on March 29.
The biggest cricketing event will continue for 44 days in 14 cities as total 49 matches will be played and its is expected that the series will continue for the whole months of February and March. Every team of the 2 groups (7 teams in each group) will play 6 pool matches before entering in to quarter final, semis and final stage.
