The company, ‘Japan Dome House’ uses a special kind of foam, ‘Styrofoam’ and it builds the houses, which not only saves from the extreme cold or hot but also has the wonderful resistance against the earthquakes. The Styrofoam is also used in the hot pot, water cooler and also used as the packaging material to save other delicate things. It is tough and sturdy in comparison to other foams and heat hardly passes through it. Due to its wonderful specialty, it is used as the packaging material in the industry. Japan Dome House constructed a complete town of 480 houses in ‘Kayushu Village Zone’ in the area of ‘Koma Moto Pre facture’, which was affected repeatedly from the earthquakes. Last year, when the area was stricken with the severe earthquake, then most of the building were destroyed or became unfit for living as they received patches in the walls but this was the small town in ‘Kayushu Village Zone’, which was not only saved from the earthquake and no physical or material loss was reported in this small town despite of the severe earthquake.
This house is single storied and only 5 people can reside in it and the construction of these homes is unsuitable for the big and most populous cities. But these houses can be built in the villages and the far off places, which excessive land is available for the construction of these houses.
