Electric Rickshaws Will Hit The Roads of Pakistan Soon

+

It looks like the electric vehicles will be seen in Pakistan in the near future. Now there are lots of hybrid cars on our streets which efforts are on rise for replacement of E-bikes in place of motorcycles and just now, we are hearing that will also be there in Pakistan to replace the older ones. Zar Motors will launch this new vehicle which is known as the Z5 E-Tricycle.
The E-Rickshaw seems to be very smooth and it seems that they will prove to be the better ones from the traditional noisy rickshaws on our streets. Their running cost will be quite low as they are also able to convert sunlight into energy.

Charging and Mileage:

Charging will be the biggest issue for these rickshaws and it seems that the company was ready for this problem. Just similar to your cellphone, the A5 can easily be charged through any normal charging outlet (100V-240V). The full charging of battery will take around 7 hours but you can charge up to 80% battery in just 2 hours. This 80% charge will take the rickshaw for distance of about 50 KM.

There’s no word about the price of this vehicle but we can assume that it will cost more than the current rickshaws. The company has also estimated that it will take around 14 months for the buyer to pay the full price of rickshaw. 1 driver and 3 passengers can be seated in the normal rickshaw while the space can be extended on request.

The E-Rickshaw can successfully replace the traditional rickshaws in big cities like Lahore. Everyone here would like to get rid of the recent rickshaws due to the issues of air pollution and noise pollution.

Recently, it was seen in the CM Office in Lahore that advisor to CM Punjab Khwaja Ahmed Hassan was testing the Z5 E-Tricycle there. It seems that the government of Punjab will introduce these rickshaws in its upcoming Rozgar scheme. We’d hope that the cost of these rickshaws will be lower than their actual price so that we can advance towards a green Pakistan without air and noise pollution.
