It is difficult task for the people to find the Wi-Fi signal and it is worrisome when their mobile data connection cannot be relied on. Facebook has decided to do something about and facebook app can help the users.
Facebook and Wi-Fi Hot Spots
Facebook has launched the feature, which is called ‘Find Wi-Fi’, which can find you open the Wi-Fi hotspot nearby. They need to open the hotspots but the businesses are also offered to them. This feature was limited to few countries in the beginning and now it is made available all over the world.
You can easily map the closest connections wherever you are and your data connection is also weak. All of the businesses will not show up in ‘Find Wi-Fi’ features and facebook has to pull the data from the information and various businesses might have added to the business pages. In order to use the new feature, you should make sure that you have an updated version of facebook app and follow these steps:
1. Open the facebook app.
2. Go to more option or click on hamburger menu icon.
3. Search for ‘Find Wi-Fi’ in the list. If it is not available, you might have to check under app section.
The hotspots will be presented as the list but they can toggle between that and the map. The viewers can find the internet connectivity through the app in the locations where the Wi-Fi hotspots are installed and the new feature is available and fully working in Pakistan.
