Facebook will soon launch a new social network named “Watch” that can prove to be YouTube’s competitor. Initially, this service will be available only to users in the USA with limited number of content creators.

This came just after few days when Google introduced its complete messaging and video sharing service as a mobile app.

Previously, there were rumors about start of TV-like shows by Facebook but now the specialists say that this new service is similar to that of YouTube.

The release date of the service hasn’t been known so far but a tech blog said that “Watch” will immediately be available for many users in USA.

Through a new ‘Watch’ tab on Facebook, users can easily discover and watch videos according to their feed, create their own watchlist and also subscribe to favorite shows.

According to reports, 55% share of the ad break will be given to the producer of the video while Facebook will take the rest.

Facebook CEO Sheryl Sandberg said recently that they are investing to create periodic content.
