The Speaker of the National Assembly too oath from members of National Assembly. The session of the Newly Elected National Assembly started after a delay of 2 hours. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Group has a lead of 186 members whereas Pakistan People’s Party has 40 members, Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf 35, MQM 23, JUI(F) got 14 seats, other parties; Muslim League Functional took 6, Jamat Islamic 4, Pakhtunkhva Milli Party took 4 and ANP, Qomi Wattan Party, Pakistan Muslim League Zia and National Party took only one seat.
