Federal Board of Revenue is going to increase the tax base in the country and it is considering to develop the mobile phone app to file the online returns with the great facility.
FBR is going to take various steps to get the objective and it will ensure the integration of databases like National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Provincial Revenue Authority, Utility Companies, Excise & Taxation Department and Land Registering Authorities with FBR. The official sources said that this would be completed in the way that the 360 degree view of economical profile of taxpayer / non tax payer is developed. There are some other measures, which are adopted under the unique strategy and FBR will concentrate on Mapping Big Businesses and Services (MBBS). The department will focus on the four big and flourishing businesses like private hospitals, diagnostics, labs, pharmacies eateries and food outlet, bakers and wedding halls.

FBR will focus in the entertainment sector and they will concentrate on the event management, professionals of sports, dramas, showbiz, film, music, theatre, amusement parks and facilities, private educational institutes and the joint ventures with the international universities.
