Festival in US on Pak Movies Starts in December 2016

New York, The first film festival on the exhibition of Pakistani movies will be conducted in America from 3 to 4 December. This festival will be conducted under the permanent mission of Pakistan in America. This two day festival will be conducted in Asia Society and two new movies will also be included like ‘Dobara Phir Se’ and ‘Lahore Se Aagey’. Besides these movies, the movie, ‘Actor in Law’, movie nominated for Oscar awards, ‘Mah Meer’ and Oscar awards winner animated movie, ‘3 Bahadur’ of Shermeen Obaid Chinoy, Dukhtar, Dance Kahani and Ho Mann Jahan will also be presented in this festival.

This festival is the part of the efforts to show the bright and clear face of Pakistan, which is managed by the Pakistani mission present in America and the Permanent Envoy of Pakistan in UN, Dr Maleeha Lodhi is heading this mission. She talked about the film festival and said that the young filmmakers of Pakistan are preparing the unimaginable best movies, which are proving very helpful in the continuous cultural development in the country. She also said that they are bringing some Pakistani movies in America so that they can be shown to the ambassadors of about 193 countries that what is Pakistani showbiz industry is making. The festival will be inaugurated with the red carpet ceremony in UN on 02 December.
