In Philippines, a fisherman found a heavy stone like thing from sea 10 years ago which he put under his bed for good omen but he know after 10 years that it is the world’s largest pearl.
The height of 24 kg pearl is 2 feet and its price is more than $100 million but the poor fisherman was keeping this pearl for its beauty and in for good omen. This pearl is 5 times larger than the previous largest pearl.
The fisherman found this pearl from Philippines Island Palwan and it remained in its mud house. But when the owner of house asked the fisherman to leave house, he showed this pearl to a tourist officer who told him that this stone is in fact a huge pearl.
According to this tourist officer, the fisherman found this pearl during bad weather in sea and he put it in his house for good omen. The pearl is now sent to the mineral experts who will estimate its real price. People of the area want this pearl to remain there while fisherman should be given reward.
It should be remembered that a pearl was found from the same place in 1934 who was given the name of “God’s Pearl”. Its weight was 6.5 kg while its price was $3.5 million.
