Google Honors Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan With Doodle in India and Pakistan

Google is going to give tribute to great and legendary singer, Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on his birthday. Google is going to display its Doodle on his birthday on its homepage for India and Pakistan.

In the Doodle of Google, you watch the iconic singer, who was sitting in front of microphone and his band and they were singing the song. He was born on 13 October 1948 and he belonged to well known and popular family, who was attached with music. He was well known for his traditional Sufi music, which he modernizes after 600 years and he was also known for Qawwali, which he sang with modern musical instruments and tools. He showed his talents and art to various other countries of the world and he got the global fame in various continents.

He was known as ‘Shahenshah-e-Qawwali’ and his art got the popularity not only in Pakistan but also known in Europe, America, India, Japan and many other countries. He collaborated with various Western artists and he released various divine sufi musical tales. He toured in various other countries of the world and got popularity. He died in 16 August 1997 due to sudden cardiac failure in London at the age of 48 and he was buried in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
