Karachi, The government took action and it reduced the rate of interest on the National Savings scheme. The government has reduced the most interest rate on the regular income certificate.
National Saving Scheme
The government reduced the profit of regular income certificate with the percentage of 0.31%, which is now 7.54%. The rate of interest of defense saving certificate reduced to 0.19%, which is now 8.68%. There is also decrease in the interest rate of Welfare Certificate with 0.24%, which is now reached to 10.8%. Now people will get the interest on Special Certificate with 6.6%, which is now reduced from 6.8%. The people will also get the benefit of 4.10% on the Saving Accounts rather than 4.25%
