Govt Tries to Bring PayPal to Pakistan

The federal government is determined to bring the services of PayPal in Pakistan, which is the leading and most prominent payment gateway for the clients. The commerce Minister addressed with the congregation and he said that government is serious to bring the services of PayPal in Pakistan.

While addressing to the business community at Pakistan Sports Goods manufacturers and exporters association in Sialkot, the commerce minister said that government wants to digitalis the economy and it can be proved by the efforts to persuade the PayPal to start its operations in Pakistan. The government is taking serious steps to bring PayPal and other online payment gateways to the country. They are hopeful that the international payment gateway will start the regular services in Pakistan to provide the facilities to the users. The government has started the necessary legislation under the supervision of State Bank of Pakistan. The government has already brought the Chinese tech giant, Alibaba in Pakistan and signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the largest e-commerce company of the world last week.

The commerce minister also said that the government was taking the initiatives to remove the hurdles, which stood in the way of economic stability of the country. The present government is make the positive efforts to boost the trade and export of the country by taking the business community into confidence and it also ensure the continuity of the effective polices regarding economy, trade and export. The government is also well aware of the problems of the business community and they will ensure the strenuous efforts to resolve the issues amicably.
