It is informed by the German authorities that over 16 millions e-mail accounts have been hacked in which most of the e-mail accounts are ended with “.de” as it is confirmed that ‘”.de” is the Internet country code for Germany.

To get the information regarding the e-mail address for getting information for the hacked account, the Federal Office for Information Security of Germany created a website and asked the people to check that their email accounts have been hacked or not. There was huge rush on this site on Tuesday and this site was temporarily blocked. The spokesperson of Federal Office for Information Security, Tim Griese told the news agency that if your email account has been hacked then your computer is likely to be infected with the malware. Still now, the authorities concerned did not confirm that who has hacked the email accounts.
