Islamabad, The Ministry of Religious Affairs has prepared the hajj policy for this year. Now the pilgrims will perform hajj on the same amount, on which the pilgrims performed hajj last year.
According to the reports and the detail of the hajj policy, there are about 1 lac and 43 thousand pilgrims will perform hajj. The quota of private tour operators has been decreased to 10% and the government scheme is enhanced. After this, about 60% pilgrims will go to Saudi Arabia to perform hall and 40% pilgrims will go to perform hajj under the private tour operators.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided not to increase the expenses of the government hajj and the people belong to the southern parts, which are about 2 lac and 55 thousands and the 2 lac and 64 pilgrims of the northern areas will perform hajj under the government scheme.
On the other side, the ministry of Religious Affairs has opposed the reserved quota for members of parliament and minster in the new hajj policy. However, the Minister of religious Affairs, Sardar Yousafand various other higher level officers has supported to continue this quota.
