Hamid Mir enters in Information Heroes List
Islamabad, The global organization of the journalists, ‘Reporters without Borders’ has issued the list of the information heroes. In the list of the organization, the name of Geo News senior anchor person Hamid Mir is also included. ‘Reporters without Borders’ has issued this list for the first time on the World Press Freedom Day and in this list, the name of Hamid Mir is included in it. The organization has also said that Hamir Mir is star reporter. A bomb was planted in his motor car last year, which was diffused. Now he was attacked on 19 April in Karachi and he was seriously injured in this incident. The organization has also said that Information Heroes has helped the improving the exchange of information and its liberty to provide the information with their bold and brave steps and it is also mentioned in the article 19 in the global manifesto of Human rights. These heroes have performed for the benefit of the common people and the global press freedom should be reserved for paying the tributes for the boldness of these journalists, who have presented their lives for this cause.
