As the education is prevailing in most of the well known universities and the degree awarding institutes and the students are getting education in these educational institutes. Now HEC has approved the online system for the attestation of the degrees of the candidates and this department will attest the degrees and also verify them that the degree is valid or not. The official statement is issued, which determined the equivalence and recognition of the diplomas, certificates and degrees, which are awarded by the institutions within the country and abroad. It is said that how this process is expected to work to give the certificate and degrees, who want to get attested their degrees online.

Pakistan Qualifying Register is the set of information database of universities and the information contains with campuses, departments, degree programs of different subjects and the correct title and level of qualification. This information will be safe in the database for the evaluation.
This information and database is linked with the database provided by NADRA and the system will be linked to PQR. If the degree programs are not provided in the PQR Database then the applicants will not get attest their degrees.
The database is provided with another security measure to filter the fake degrees. The databases of NADRA and PQR help to eliminate the fake degrees altogether.
Verification Via Controller Examination
The verification of the documents through the controller of examination is considered the most crucial step in the degree attestation. This is the first time that the controller of examination will play this most hazardous role for the verification process of the degrees.
The controller of exams will get the control of the system and they can check the uploaded scanned copies of the documents of the applicant like degree or the transcript of the provisional certificate.
The controller of examinations will examine the document carefully and he will verify the legitimacy of the document online within 24 hours. If the verification process is not completed within one day, then the universities will be notified through the email that they should complete the process of verification of the documents and complete it as soon as possible.
