Following is the complete information about joining Pak Army after intermediate, graduation, master degree and MBBS.Required Age to Join Pakistan Army:                                           

The complete age to join Pak Army is given below. It is provided that what is the minimum age, maximum age and relax-able (both in upper and lower class) age under special circumstances in the points given below.

  • The age of candidates having matriculate or intermediate (FA/ FSC) certificate must be between 17 to 22 years.
  • 17 to 23 is the age limit of the candidates who want to join Pak Army after completing their graduation (2 year program).
  • The age limit for candidates having 4 year graduation program is between 17 to 24 years.
  • Candidates with masters, MBBS and MBA qualifications have age limit till 28 years.

Requirements To Join Pakistan Army:

We have provided here complete information about the necessary requirements to join Pak Army below.

  • Only males can join Pak Army in the specific fields.
  • The candidates must be unmarried before joining Pak Army.
  • Candidates must be citizens of Pakistan. Candidates with dual nationality have to surrender their foreign citizenship before joining Pak Army.
  • Minimum height required by the candidates for joining Pak Army is 5’ 4” (162.5 cm).
  • Weight of the candidate must be according to the body mass index (BMI).
  • Both mark sheet and certificate of matric is necessary while the candidates have to submit Equivalence Certificate by IBCC in case they are O level or A level qualified.
  • Candidates with intermediate level education should have minimum 60% marks in FA/ FSC exams.
  • Candidates with graduation degree must have 60% marks in BA/ BSC or BA/ BSC (Hons) along with 50% marks in intermediate.
  •  Those candidates will be given relaxation of 55% marks in FA/ FSC who belong to District Rajanpur, Cholistan Desert, Drawer Fort, Salamsar, Mojgarh and Dingarh in Punjab, Tharparker and Tehsil Umer Kot in Sindh, District Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Tehsil Balakot in KPK, District Neelum in AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan and FATA.
  • Candidates who are already serving in Pak Army at lower post are eligible having 50% marks in FA/ FSC.
  • The candidates must have verification certificate of secretary/ controller examination of the concerned board or university in case they have duplicate or revised mark sheets or certificates of matric, intermediate or graduation class.
  • Computerized NIC is compulsory for candidates of age 18 and above.
  • Computerized form B and Guardian’s CNIC (father or mother) is compulsory for the candidates with age less than 18 years.
  • 6 attested colored photographs and one set of attested photocopies of all the documents must be provided by the candidate.
  • A candidate has to provide 3 photocopies of “Not Recommended” letter of ISSB in case he is appearing for second time.

Ineligibility Conditions:

Given below are the conditions under which a candidate becomes ineligible to join Pak Army.

  • Those candidates who have been rejected twice by ISSB/ GHQ selection and Review Board are ineligible to apply for Pak Army.
  • A candidate becomes ineligible to apply again if he is declared medically unfit by Military Hospital/ Appeal Medical Board.

Registration Procedure:

Given below is the registration process to join Pak Army which is the only way to register for Pak Army.

  • Candidates can get online registration through internet after which he will receive complete test schedule at his email account.
  • Otherwise, the candidate can register by physically appearing in AS & RC selection centre along with prospectus fee and relevant documents.

Selection Procedure:

  • The candidates have to undergo with written/ intelligence test which is based on MCQs of the subjects of Islamiyat, Pak Studies, General Knowledge and English.
  • The successful candidates of the first step will appear for physical test that include running of 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes, 15 push ups in 2 minutes, 15 sit ups in 2 minutes, 3 chin ups in 2 minutes and ditch crossing of 7.4 x 7.4 with 4’ depth.
  • Successful candidates of physical test will be called for interviews at AS & RC centres.
  • ISSB test will be taken after interviews.
  • In the last step, detailed medical test of candidates will be held and then the candidates will be called for final interviews at GHQ Selection Board.
