Eligibility Criteria:

When the students apply for grant of commission in Pak navy, there is huge number of departments. The students need to know the eligibility criteria and they need to get information regarding education gender, age and height. The candidates need to read them carefully and they should apply for commission with full confidence.

Operations Branches – Marines & SSG (N)

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 26 years at the time to apply
  • Height:            5’4” (Minimum)
  • Qualification: Graduation with minimum 45% marks from HEC recognized institutes / universities and F.Sc (Physics & Maths) with 45% marks are mandatory for getting commission in Pak Navy.

Supply Branch:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 26 years age required to apply
  • Height:            5’4” (Minimum)
  • Qualification: The candidate passes B.Com, BBA (SCM), MBA (Accounting / Finance), M.com, MA Economics with minimum 2nd Division from HEC recognized institution / university.

Rank: Ag Sub Lieutenant after successful completion of training

Education Branch:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 28 Years age required to apply
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4” height is required to apply
  • Qualification: Candidates must possess qualification MA/MSc/BS in Mathematics, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies with minimum 2nd division from HEC recognized institution/university. The candidates, who have additional qualification of B.Ed degree, they will be preferred

  • Gender:           Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 28 years age is required.
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4” height is required to apply.
  • Qualification: Candidates must possess qualification of MA/MS/BS in Psychology with minimum 2nd Division from HEC recognized institute/university

Rank: Candidate will join Pakistan Navy as Ag Sub Lieutenant after successful completion of training.

Medical Branch – GDMOs:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 28 years
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4”
  • Qualification: Candidates must possess qualification of MBBS with 2nd Division or equivalent qualification, which is duly recognized by PM&DC and one year house jobs experience in PM&DC recognized hospitals.

Rank: Successful candidates will join Pakistan Navy as Lieutenant after completion of Training.

Medical Branch – Specialists:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 35 years
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4” height
  • Qualification: Candidates must possess qualification MBBS with post-graduate qualification i.e. FCPS/FRCS/MRCP/MS/MD/American Board or equivalent qualification in following Specialty / Disciplines like (Anaesthesiology, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Cardiology)

Rank: Successful candidates will join Pakistan Navy as Ag Lieutenant Commander after completion of Training.

Special Branch – IT Specialist:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Candidates with 20 to 35 years age
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4” height
  • Qualification: The candidates must possess qualification of BS (Computer Science), BSE, BIT, MCS & MIT with minimum 50% marks from HEC recognized institution / university.

Ordnance Branch:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 28 years
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4” height
  • Qualification: The candidates must have qualification of BE (Electrical / Electronics) or BE (Mechanical) with minimum 50% marks from HEC recognized institution / university.

Marine Engineering Branch:

  • Gender:           Male Citizens of Pakistan
  • Age:                 Upto 28 years
  • Height:            Minimum 5’4” height
  • Qualification: The candidates must have the qualification of MS/BE Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks from HEC recognized institution / university

Rank: Successful candidates will join Pakistan Navy as Ag Lieutenant when they complete their training successfully and satisfactorily

Ineligibility:

  • If any candidate passes his postgraduate exams and he is rejected by ISSB twice, then he is not eligible to apply.
  • If a candidate is rejected by ISSB twice before passing the postgraduate exams and one time after the postgraduate class, he is considered ineligible to apply.
  • If a candidate is rejected by ISSB twice before passing the postgraduate exams and one time after postgraduate class, but he attains higher education of FRCS or PhD, then he is considered eligible for the third chance.
  • If any candidate is screened out twice at ISSB, he is not considered eligible to apply.
  • Any candidate, who is dismissed or removed from government service, he is not eligible to apply.
  • If any candidate is convicted by court of law in any offense or found involve in moral turpitude, he is ineligible
  • If any candidate is declared unfit by Appeal Medical Board, he is ineligible to apply
  • If any candidate is declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital due to disease of Hepatitis B&C he is not eligible to apply.
  • The candidates, who have been declared unfit by the Armed Forces hospital, except the candidates, who have been cleared by the Appeal Medical Board, they are not eligible.
  • The candidates married with foreign national, are also not eligible to apply.
  • The candidates, who have been withdrawn from bonded Armed Forces college or institution on disciplinary grounds
  • The candidates, who submit the tempered or fake documents, they are also not eligible to apply.
  • The candidates, who provide false or wrong information in their application forms, they are also not eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:

  • The candidates have to appear for the entrance test first.
  • When the candidates qualify in the entrance test, they will have to appear for their preliminary medical exams and interview.
  • Short listed candidates of the test, will have to appear for their test and interview at ISSB other than the students, who apply in the medical branches.
  • When the students appear in the test and interview at ISSB, the successful candidates will have to appear for their medical exams at their nearest CMH or in PNS Shifa.
  • When the medical test of the candidates will be carried out, the candidates will be called for interview at PN Selection Board.
  • The final selection of the candidates will be carried out at Naval headquarters on merit basis.

  • The candidates can registered their names through online at the official site of Pakistan Navy.
  • The applicants, who will apply through online, they will be entertained only.
  • The candidates have to prepare the postal order in favor of Director of Recruitment, HGQ Islamabad and they will also bring their original CNIC and registration slip at the time of entrance test of the candidates.
