Indian sensor board has cut the name of ‘Punjab’ and 89 scenes from film “Udta Punjab” which gave rise to a new political controversy. Film’s producer Anurag Kashyap has filed a request against Indian sensor board while sensor board chairman Pahlaj Nihalani has blamed on film producer to make film by taking funds from Aam Aadmi Party after which film director demanded apology from sensor board chairman.
On the other hand, famous actors of film world after criticized the step of Indian sensor board. Mega star Amitabh Bachchan said that there should be liberty to show anything and creative abilities should not be crushed while Aamir Khan said that the film is based on the social message of drugs and cutting such scenes is not good at all.
It should be cleared that Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played main role in the film “Udta Punjab” that will be released on 17thJune.
