The Inter Service Public Relations has warned the public about the unknown person, who pretended to be the officials of Pakistan army and they want to get the personal information. The DG ISPR, Major General Asif Ghafoor issued the sent out the public awareness message and he warned the people about this scan.

It is stated in this message that Army received lot of complaints about the people, who impersonate as the army officials and they try to get the sensitive information. The information will be added with CNIC numbers, bank account details, which the scammers demand for the census verification.

Public Awareness Message

The public awareness message is added as ‘there are reports of the fake telephone calls being made to the general public by such people, who pretended to be the officials of Pakistan armed forces. The people should be aware that no such called are being made to the people from the Pakistan Armed Forces’.

ISPR requested to the general public of Pakistan not to respond to such calls and they should report the same on the emergency helpline UAN 1135 and 1125 immediately. ISPR warned the public about such issue in January this year and clarified that army is not making such calls. The media wing of army issued the warning about fake emails claiming coming from army and they want to get the personal information from the people. The message added that people should block and report the emails, which are received from address [email protected].
