A research has been conducted in Japan and the medical experts revealed that rice proves good for the sound sleep. There are different experiments conducted on the people, who suffer from insomnia and it was found that there is enough quantity of glucose in blood and the glycolic goods are good and they help in providing sound sleep. It is also added that the carbohydrates means sugary foods like rice, sweet potato and the fibrous foods are included in which glycolic index was found enough to meet the requirement of the body and help in improving the sleep.
