New York, Singapore has been declared the most expensive city of the world for the fifth consecutive time. In the list of the cheapest cities of the world, Karachi is present at the 6^th position.

Despite of the increasing expenses of the residence and the necessities of life, the cities of the South Eastern countries of the world are still very cheap. According to the survey report of media, there are many cheapest cities of the world and the economical and business hub of Pakistan, Karachi is at the 6^th position in terms of cheapest cities of the world. At the top of the cheapest cities of the world is Damascus, which is the capital of the war torn country, Syria. The city of Venezuela, Crocks is at the second position, Almaty of Kazakhstan is at the third number, and Lagos of Nigeria is at the 4^th position while Indian city, Bangalore is present at the fifth position. In this list, the cities like Algeria, Chennai, Bucharest and New Delhi is present at the 7^th, 8^th, 9^th and 10^th positions respectively.

In the classification of the most expensive cities of the world, Singapore has been at the first position for last five years consecutively. Paris is on the second, Zurich is at the third, Hong Kong on the fourth position, Oslo on the fifth position, Geneva is on the 6^th, Seoul is on the 7^th, Coupon Hagen is on the 8^th, Tel Aviv is on the 9^th position while Sydney is on the 10^th position respectively.

During the survey report, the analysis of about 160 food commodities, rent of the house, transport, utility bills, private schools and other rates of over 130 countries of the world were carried out.
