The historical place, Katas Raj Temple is located near Chakwal and it is the sacred and important place for the Hindu community of Pakistan. They travel from the different countries t attend the annual pilgrimage. It is situated in Katas village in Punjab and it was established from 615 to 950 CE and it was dedicated to Lord Shiva.
This complex is comprised of seven Hindu temples and it is added with at least 1500 years worth of history and it passed through different eras and dynasties and it has the stunning architecture, which is an ode to the architectural heritage of Pakistan.
