The Inspector General of Police, Punjab chaired the meeting regarding the e-ticketing project, which will be completed within one month. The IGP chaired the meeting at Integrated Command and Control Center Lahore that the e-ticketing project will help the traffic violations supervision and it is wonderful idea to solve the traffic problems within the city, which were faced by the citizens. He also instructed that the implementation of the project within time should be ensured.

When this project will be launched, the e-tickets will be issued to the traffic violators, whose vehicle registration credentials are provided according to their CNIC and the IGP also asked the traffic police to coordinate with Safe City IC3 project in order to streamline the challan system. IGP issued the directions to Lahore Chief Traffic officer and project director IC3 to monitor the progress of the IC3 personally to ensure its completion timely.

The MD of the Lahore Safe City project gave the briefing to IGP that the installation of the project of the optical fiber is in the final stage and installation of camera on Motorway toll plaza is being done. These cameras will ensure the proper monitoring of traffic entering and exiting in Lahore.

The DIG traffic police Punjab and CTO Lahore stated that nine digital signboards will be installed on five particular roads to give the awareness about the traffic. The plans are also made to initiate the training courses for elevation of the traffic police wardens, which was also discussed in the meeting.
