Google has just made the Nexus 5 official. LG has manufactured the latest Nexus smartphone. With add up to a pixel density of 445 ppi, it rocks a 4.95” LCD display with 1080p resolution. It comes with the addition of Gorilla Glass 3 to enhance screen protection.

A 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and four Krait 400 cores is inside the Nexus 5. With 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat at the driver’s seat, it’s definitely not a slouch.

Internal storage options are either 16GB or 32GB with no microSD card slot to be found, in a traditional Google manner. There is a 2,300mAh battery below the cover and also supports wireless charging.

At the back, there’s an 8MP with LED flash and OIS. The camera uses an f/2.4 aperture and a 1/3.2” sensor. With a LED flash below, the camera module protrudes a bit from the rear casing. For video calling, there’s a 1.3MP camera at the front. The LG Nexus 5 weighs just 130g and measures 137.84 x 69.17 x 8.59mm.

The LG Nexus 5 has 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, A-GPS, NFC, on the connectivity side.

The Nexus 5 will be available in Canada and US in North America, France, UK, Italy, Germany and Spain in Europe and also in Australia, Japan and Korea.

The price of 16GB version of Nexus 5 is $349, Euro 349 and 300UK pound, while price of 32GB version is $400, Euro400 and 340UK Pound. From Google Play Store, sales start from November 01.
