New York, US Open tennis tournament is being played in America in which various players including some of the super stars are participating. Ex Champion Roger Federer is now advancing in the US Open. In the ladies player, Maria Sharapova of Russia had to face the upset defeat in the tournament and she had to move out of the tournament. This event of US Open is being played in New York. Roger Fedrer was played against the Spanish player, Marcelle Granuels. In the first set, he was defeated from his opponent by the margin of 4-6. But in next three sets, he defeated his opponent with the margin of 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1. Now Roger moved to the next stage. Giles Simmu of France and Gregor Dimitrov of Balgharia reached in the next stage after getting the success. In women event, Maria Sharapova of Russia reached in the next stage after defeating in the tournament. Karoline Vozenia of Denmark defeated her in the tough match with the margin of 6-4, 2-6 and 6-2.
