Microsoft to release Windows 10 29th July 2015

Starting from 29th of July the latest Operating System is going to be accessible as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users. This upgrade is going to be free of cost for anyone who has got computer in the past 6 years and is operating on Windows 7 or a later version. Also the upgrade will be available on the Tablets running on Windows 8.1.

To get free upgrade, you need to use the Window 10 app. Just click on the small Windows icon given in the taskbar, then click ‘Reserve your free upgrade’ and give out your email address to get a confirmation. By clicking on the popup as well brings up a slideshow detailing the latest features of Windows 10 and it contains apps such as Cortana, Edge, Passport and the new start menu. If you have got more eligible devices, you will need to repeat the process for every single of them.

If you the icon is not appeared in your taskbar, then check if you have enabled the Windows updates or not. If you have enabled it then the company is working on drivers for your device or you are qualified for the free upgrade.

Windows 10 for Mobiles is as well going to be come out sometime later this year, however no exact dates has been reported. Microsoft has just 2 months till the desktop version comes out therefore they have their work cut out for them. Let’s hope that all work well and we receive a polished new windows.
