Mobilink has finally announced the commercial launching of the 3G services from today. Mobilink introduced the launching of the 3G services freely sometimes before and now they will charge for the use of the 3G service from today. Mobilink has also announced the 3G packages, which will be provided in the market with different bundles and options. They will charge for it for the experience of the 3G services.
Activating 3G
Mobilink is the first cellular network in the country, which has started the use of 3G services. To activate the services of 3G in the country, the customers will have to dial *443# and they will have to select the option of the ‘3G activation’ and send Sub to 7003 for the activation of the 3G service. Mobilink will not charge for the activation of this 3G service.
Mobilink 3G Packages
Mobilink will offer different packages to its customers including 3 day, weekly and monthly. 4GB is the higher limit for the monthly bundle offer and this service will be charged for Rs.600 per month. When the 3G package is over, then the customers will have to renew this data bundle offer to continue using of 3G bundles. The people should do the activation of the process and they will do it for daily 3G packages. It is not expected that this renewal offer will be same forever and in future, Mobilink will have to introduce the better solution for the activation of the 3G services. The people should check the bundles, which are offered by Mobilink.

Video Calling
Terms and conditions:
- The customers can subscribe and consume the 2G and 3G networks for the use of 3G bundles.
- The users can use the 3G bundles at 3G speed in 3G network and they can also use it at the best speed in 2G network.
- On the use of the mobile internet usage, the tax and the subscription charges are applicable.
- The 3G data bundles will not subscribe automatically and the subscribers will have to subscribe this bundle after its expiry.
- Base rate is the default rate and he customers, who will not subscribe for any bundle, they will be charged according to the base rate of Rs.18 per MB at 2G speed. This will be applicable even the subscriber is connected to the 3G network and the charging of the bundles will be 64 KB.
- The video call of the customers will be activated with 3G service by default.
- The video call will be billed for 30 seconds.
- The company will provide only one on-net video calling service to the customers.
- The customers can do the video calling at the 3G network and they need the handset for making the video call.
Postpaid Packages
It seems that Mobilink did not announce the 3G packages yet or the details of the packages has not uploaded on their website. It is also astonishing that Mobilink is going to start the 3G services to the customers and this service will be charged on the 3G bundles but these bundles are not offered to the postpaid subscribers.
