Mobilink was established the Mobilink Infinity as the WiMAX broadband operator and the partner of Broadband division. Now Mobilink Infinity has stopped its operation in Pakistan.
A highly secret source has disclosed the news with the condition that his name should not be shared with anyone told ProPakistani that they have handed over the business to Qubee regarding the whole WiMAX customers to stop working in the country and shifted to other country.

There were about 15,000 WiMAX customers belong to Karachi who are now shifted to Qubee.
It is not known that where will the higher level staff be shifted but the low to mid class staff in which sale department is also included that they will leave the office of Mobilink Infinity.
Mobilink has already closed the Link Dot Net in the start of this year, which was the DSL broadband arm of group and it also cited them the situation of tough marketing.
Now the Mobilink Infinity is going to close the business in the country, the Mobilink broadband division is free and it will shift the focus and attention to the 3G data services.
It seemed that this would be happened as appeared from last one year that this situation will be happened due to success of EvDO as technology and from the WiMAX parent group shortage of funding.
At present, WiMAX has the more than 550,000 broadband customers or it can be 20 percent of the whole subscription of broadband. With the passage of time, WiMAX subscriptions are dilapidated.
When the Mobilink Infinity stopped working in the market, then the regulator will start evaluation of the option to control the WiMAX industry.
