Islamabad, NADRA has increased the fee of new CNIC 100% and it has intimated the offices across the country that the new fee will be applicable with immediate effect and from today.
According to notification issued to media, the fee of theurgent CNIC card is increased from Rs.500/- to Rs.1150/-. The normal fee of the smart card is increased from Rs.300/- to Rs.750/- and the urgent fee is increased from Rs.750/- to Rs.1500/-. The fee for the renewal of the smart card is also increased. The fee of the normal identity card is increased from Rs.200/- to Rs.400/- and the fee of the executive card is increased from Rs.1600/- to Rs.2500/- and the fee of the identity cards of the overseas Pakistanis has been reduced. The Gazette of Pakistan has accorded the approval for increase in the fee of the national identity cards.
