Nikon W300 is Rugged Camera for Adventurous

Nikon has announced the new rugged point and the shoot camera and the people can do their underwater shooting with this camera. This new camera, Coolpix W300 is strongly built camera and it brings the video recording prowess for trips under water.
Water, Dust, Cold and Drop Resistant
The main features of the camera are 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) video capture to allow you to record the videos at 30 fps. It is resistant to water, for up to 30 minutes, dust and cold (up to negative 10 degree Celsius) and it also survives to drop of 2.4 meters.
Lens Specifications and Connectivity Options
On the front of the camera, there is 16 MP NIKKOR lens with 1/2.3 inch CMOS backlight the illuminating sensor with 5 x (24-120mm) optical zoom. The users can have pause videos or they can take 8 MP still from anywhere in the video.
Nikon camera is no stranger from the front and it has redesigned the grip to be confirmer and easier to hold. It is sharp looking with bright orange finish. It is added with 3 inch LCD with physical controls and buttons for the better operations in the turbulent conditions. It is added with connectivity options like GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi. The camera is added with Snapbridge app for continuous transfers of shot content with the phone. It is supported with iOS and Android phones.
Pricing
On the front, the Coolpix W300 has the cost of $395 and it may sound lot for point and shoot camera and the similar options are difficult to find in the rugged segment. The camera has 4K shooting option and it gives you room to add quality to the adventurous scenes. You can compete it with Olympus TG-5 which is expensive and has the large rivalry with the smart phones, which is giving the environmental resistance and it has become the better shooters over the years.
