Microsoft announced a week ago to dismiss non-Windows Phone projects of Nokia in favor of its main offerings. But the dumbphones survived because there’s no current products of Nokia present in this category.
Microsoft announced the phone Nokia 130 that features a 1.8” QQVGA display, Bluetooth 3.0 and a flashlight on the back.
It has a single-SIM slot, player and music app, choice of 3 colors (black, red and white) and FM Radio.
The 1020mAh cell will provide lot of battery life from Series 30 OS. According to Nokia, there’s 46 hours music playback and 16 hours video playback option. There’s no camera in this phone.
There’s a MicroUSB 2.0 port along with the trademark alphanumeric keypad of Nokia. It will make you not worry about file storage and there’s also a microSD card slot with the storage capacity of 32GB.
For this basic single-SIM model, the price set is set at $25. Microsoft is hoping in the future to bring the customers back to its platform through this offer.
