Nokia 8 First Android Flagship Phone
Nokia has launched its first flagship phone in the market to regain the popularity among its users, which it lost many years ago. Nokia 8 has been introduced in the market with flagship specs, build quality and also the flagship price.
The manufacturer has already launched the budget smart phones, the 3, 5 and 6 half a year ago but they did not have the flagship experience and Nokia has changed it.
Design and Display
Nokia 8 might not the most attractive phone of the year and not with bezels but this phone has very attractive build. The design of the smart phone follows the footsteps of last released Nokia phone this year. The smart phone has unibody high-gloss, mirror like finish on back to take it 40 stage process of anodizing, machining and polishing.
The display of Nokia 8 is bit different in terms of size and Nokia is added with 5.3 inch screen and keep the phone small and handy and the screen resolution is at QHD (2560 x 1440) with IPS LCD panel to offer good viewing angles. Nokia 8 has Ozi Audio to capture 360 degree audio through three mics and own audio capturing algorithms of the company. Nokia 8 can capture audio with immersive 360 degree spatial surround sound.

Hardware and OS
The users will find Qualcomm latest and wonderful Snapdragon 835 to pair it with an Adreno 540 GPU and handle all multitasking is 4 GB RAM. If you think 4 GB is not enough, Nokia has introduced 6 GB RAM variant. It will come in Glossy Blue Color and it will be added with 128 GB of internal storage and 4 GB RAM variant will get 6 GB internal storage.
Nokia has released previous smart phones and Nokia 8 runs the clean version of Android 7.1.1 on the box and Nokia will be first device to add with Android O update, when it is provided in the market.
Camera and Battery
Nokia flagship handset is provided in the market with two 13MP sensors on the back. The sensor will shoot in RGB and one in black and white. The front facing camera is 13 MP and it comes with autofocus. The three cameras are Carl Zeiss branded and have f/2.0 apertures. Nokia has highlights the ‘Bothie’ photos to combine the pictures from both front facing camera and rear camera into one. The handset is powered by 3090 mAh battery and the fast charging support is also added with Quick Charge 3.0.
Pricing
Nokia 8 will be provided in the market in 4 colors like polished copper, polished blue, steel and tempered blue. The price of the handset will be started at €599, which is equal to PKR 75,000/-. The prices of the handset are higher in Europe because of the taxation. The price of this handset is slightly lower in US and other regions.
