Now Send Money Through Facebook


World’s most famous social media site “Facebook” has introduced a new facility through which the customers can send cash at foreign locations.

The facility to transfer money through Facebook will be available via a new company “TransferWise” which has launched a ‘chatbot’ which gives he facility to Facebook users to send and receive payment through its messenger service.

For experimental purposes, this payment service is currently available only in USA, Canada, Australia and EU while it also informs the customers about exchange rate of their currency.

Previously, money transfer service through Facebook was only available in USA but it wasn’t possible to exchange money between accounts of different countries. ‘TransferWise’ company is located in London through which 1 million people transfer around $1 billion per month. The financial support for this new company is provided by a financial firm “Andreessen Horowitz” and Virgin group founder Richard Branson.

‘TransferWise’ doesn’t demand high fee for transfer of money due to which people like it. The company allows the customers to deposit their money in any local ‘TransferWise’ bank account and take the money of same amount from any local ‘TransferWise’ bank of another country.

The company is regulated by financial departments of UK while the company claims that its ‘chatbot’ is according to security standards of its customers. This chatbot started for Facebook for the first time in April 2016.
