Nvidia New Laptop Graphics Cards Perform75% More

Most of the people want to get the gaming laptops and they look their performance over their values. Nvidia has announced the gap between the performance of the desktop and laptop, which is becoming shorter.

The company, Nvidia has launched three latest laptops GPUs including 1080, 1070 and 1060. These laptops are completely similar to the recently declared variants and their performance is also similar. They are added with the cards, which are VR ready and they are provided with 16nm Pascal architecture and it used desktop GTX 980 cards in the laptops. The new GPUs are within 10 percent of performance of their desktop counterparts and it is provided with the boost up to 75 percent over their previous generation. The old desktop GTX 980 is not added with candle to these cards. The difference is added in their clock speeds.

At the top of this range is 1080 and it has 2560 CUDE cores and the base or boost clocks of 1556 / 1733 Mhz if you compare it to 1607 / 1773 for desktop. It is added with 8 GB of 10 GB/s GDRR5X speed with the provision of 256 bit interface and 320 GB interface. The next GTX is 1070 and it has higher number of CUDE Cores than its desktop variants at 2048 and it has the base or boost clocks of 1442 / 1645 Mhz if we compare it with 1506 / 1683 on desktop. It is added with 8 GB of GB/s with GDDR5 memory and 256 GB/s bandwidth and 256 bit interface.

The current 980 running machines can accept 1070 easily and 1080 supports the overlocking and 1070 will get the feature in near future. The lower machine is 1060 and it sit in ultrabooks and other svelte setups and it is added with 1280 CUDE cores and base or boost clocks of 1404 / 1670 Mhz and 6 GB GDDR5 memory with 8 GB/s speed and is added with 192 GB/s bandwidth.

Nvidia is going to settle the big deal of QHD G-Sync displays at 120 Hz in laptops and they are added with launch lineup for the GPUs. The battery life is the big concern as the laptop GTX 1080 has 180W of power and it is added with BatteryBoost to fix the frame rate and also do the downclock of GPU. It gives the playable experience for card and it is added with desktop graphic cards to support the goodies like VR Works and Ansel.

The company has announced the first systems, which are running on the GPUs with the courtesy of MSI and Origin PC. The price of the laptops is started from $5199 for MSI GS43VR Phantom Pro with the features like 16 GB RAM, 14 inch 1080p display, 1 TB hard drive, 2.6 Ghz Core i7 and the lower end laptop, GTX 1060 M. if the clients want to get the big, then they can get GT83VR Titan SLI with two GTX 1080, 1 TB hard drive, two 512 GB SSDs, 2.9 Ghz Core i7 and 64 GB RAM, which are available on mere $5099.

The companies like HP, ASUS, Razer, Acer, Gigabyte, EVGAm, Alienware, Lenovo and others committed to use the latest and fresh graphic units of Nvidia because of the course. Nvidia also said that the VR ready laptops can be provided as little as $1299 in near future.
