It is worth mentioned that the fibre quality internet connectivity will be provided to most of the people through the satellite to all over the world as well as in Pakistan.

The fibre quality internet connectivity will be launched within few months commercially and this service will be operated through the first ever Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites and this will increase the speed of the internet to the end users.

O3b networks will be dubbed for three billions without internet and it will help to link with the developing countries through high-speed internet on the satellite & it will work there, where no other medium of connectivity is provided to the people.

There are few service providers including SES, Liberty Global, Google, Sofina, Northbridge Venture partners, HSBC, Development Bank of South Africa, Allen & Company and Satya Capital will provide the financial and operational support.

The satellites of O3b will fly in the medium earth orbit of 8062 kms in the equator while the satellites of traditional GEO (Geostationary earth orbit) will fly over 36,000 kms. O3b will provide the services to the customers in the band between 45 degrees north and 45 degrees south and it will cover most of the population of the world.

It is also known that the leading IT and telecom company of Pakistan, Interactive E-solutions will launch the high-speed O3b services in the country commercially.

The KA band antennas will telecast the services to the customers present in the homes, schools, businesses and hospitals with the tremendous terrestrial broadband networks, and boosting of data and connection to different fields.

O3b is the system, which contains the low-latency and higher speed alternative to the conventional geostationary satellites. O3b is also known as the ‘other 3 billion’ and provide the service to maximum number of people in the absence of the high-speed internet and reliable internet connections in the developing countries.

The chairman and CEO of Interactive Group, Shahid Mahmood said while sharing his views over the launching of the 4 satellites of O3b that they are feeling tremendous pleasure over the launching of the O3b satellites. He said that Pakistani market will have great space for the bandwidth and the data, which can be done in the field of education, public safety, e-learning, health, e-governance and telemedicine and many others. He further added that the people of Pakistan will enjoy with the internet usages with the positive effects of the connectivity.

The CEO of O3b, Steve Collar in the French Guiana said with the media that they were enjoying with the successful launching of the satellites and these four satellites will start their services within few months. He further added that they are looking for the third launching of other 4 satellites and the total number of satellites will rise to 12 satellites. He said that they are going to increase the number of satellites to more than 100. He further added that they will not stop in the demand for having the connectivity of broadband. They will launch other satellites for providing services as long as there is demand of the launching of the satellites in the market.
