All the blasphemous and objectionable stuff available on social media websites, especially Facebook and other websites should be blocked by the authorities within three days according to the orders of Peshawar High Court.

The orders were issued by the Presiding Chief Justice Dost Muhammad in Peshawar High Court as a result of response of a petition filed by Arif Khan, who is a lawyer. According to the petition filed the blasphemous content could not be blocked from the authorities from the social media websites.

According to the remarks of Chief Justice the blasphemous content is freely available on the social media website which provokes and hurts the feelings of Muslims and resulting Chaos in the society.

It looks probable that Peshawar High Court will block the Social Media Websites in Pakistan if its orders are not implemented by the authorities which seems to be the case as it is unclear how and when the authorities will take any action against blasphemous content.

As YouTube is blocked in the country for previous eight months due to the same reason which is worth mentioning here.
