The government of the Punjab has started the electric scooties for the female students in Punjab and this scooty scheme will give sense of contentment to the working women and the female students. The scooty will power 50cc and it is powered by rechargeable batteries. The pink scooty scheme is the great step of the Punjab government for the girl students, who study in the colleges and universities and they have to face problems, when they move to their destinations. The scooty scheme was launched in Lahore city and now it is spreading to other cities of Punjab, which is getting popularity among the women folk. Bank of Punjab is the official partner of Punjab government and the women will have to fill in the registration forms to get registered with the scheme and Punjab government will provide scooties to the girls on the merit basis on the easy installments.
Punjab traffic police will give the training to the girls and women and they will also provide security to the girls. The girls will drive the scooty without having driving license as it is only 50cc. the engine of the scooty will work on batteries and petrol is not used in it. With the provision of pink scooties, the girls will move from one place to other quite easily. The people of the society should look at the brighter side of this scheme, which will bring comfort for the women and girls, who have to wait for the buses, Hiace and Suzuki on the stops for long time and during the rush hours, they face serious issues of transportation.
