PM Assistant Promises to Meet 100,000 Qatar Job Quota This Year

Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has said that they are going to get the complete quota of 100,000 jobs by the end of 2019, which was introduced by Qatar recently.

Before this, about 45,000 skilled and semi skilled workers were sent to Qatar for the job opportunities in constructions and other sectors. The special assistant to PM, Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari said that they are reaffirming the resolve of the government to generate employment for the youth of the country. He gave the emphasis on the need to create the skilled work force and his ministry is considering different ways to produce the skilled workforce. He said that he is contacting with the relevant authorities in Qatar to enhance the job quota for the Pakistani workforce.

Bukhari said if Pakistani workers will get the jobs in Qatar, then national economy will become strong. He also said that three visa facilitation centers will be developed in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, which will allow them for speedy processing of the visas of the emigrants. The special facilitation centers will help the people to look for work opportunities in Qatar and it will help the workers in the country and it helps to reduce the employers exploiting workers.

Zulfi Bukhari said that these centers are established to secure rights of workforce, who face different problems with their employers. When more and more Pakistanis will get their jobs in Qatar, it will help the country to make economy of the country stronger.
