Islamabad, The 5 member larger bench of Pakistan Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa declared the prime minister of Pakistan disqualified. The ex prime minister was charged for Panama gate scandal and the hearing of the case was continued for last nine months in the apex court. The SC made 5 members larger bench, which heard the case, which was started from 07 November 2016. When the panama gate scandal was appeared, the family of the ex-prime minister was found involved and there were serious allegations of corruption against him and his family but the ex prime minister refused to resign from his office.

The opposition parties including PTE, PPP, JI and other parties demanded resignation of the prime minister as he was not remained fit for the highest post of the premiere. Now the apex declared him disqualified unanimously and they alleged that the wealth of the ex prime minister was far above from his earnings. The apex court also ordered NAB to complete the investigation in the panama gate case within six weeks. The honorable judges of the apex court held the premiere dishonest to the parliament and courts. The apex court also ordered the Election Commission to denotify Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

SC started reading the verdict at 1130 local time and they announced the unanimous decision in the mean time. The huge number of police and army personnel was there outside the court to tackle any untoward movement from the audience or workers of the political parties.
