PTA has launched a Consumer Support Center CSC

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority PTA is providing a facility to all telecom consumers to register their complaints related to cellular mobile telephony, internet service providers, fixed/wireless telephony, Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS), web content reporting (blasphemy, pornography etc.), UAN, Toll-free, UIN, and allocation of short/CVAS registration amongst others. The great news in this regard for all telecom technology users is that the PTA has launched a Consumer Support Center CSC. Chairman PTA, Major Gen. Amir Azeem Bajwa (R) launched the CSC at PTA Headquarters Islamabad. The PTA CSC will be available 7 days a week from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM through a dedicated toll-free number: 0800-55055 and the PTA has hired efficient and trained agents to support all consumers . The consumers will simply provide the necessary information and details for quick identification and to respond their complaints.

The Chairman PTA said that PTA is well aware about the issues that the telecom consumers face. The initiative shows a keen interest and commitment of the authority the in depth sense of consumers need and their problems. Furthermore, any consumer is not satisfied with service operations, or feels any delay in process of complaint can complaint directly to PTA official website.
